Anti-noise shims are used in almost every new automotive application. They prevent the development of noise and squeal when braking.
For many years, JOPE has been producing anti-noise shims for many well-known brake manufacturers. The materials we use consist of different combinations of layers of rubber, carbon steel, adhesives (acrylic or silicone based and phenol based glues for hot bonding) with a paper or plastic protector. Those combinations allow us offering not only OE quality materials but also aftermarket oriented materials, where JOPE has a leading position in Europe.
Our stamping lines allow us an important flexibility to deal with a wide product range (more than 550 different models at the moment) with the lowest batch sizes in the market and at a competitive cost.
